Sunday Brunch and June Showers!!!

We went to LaCaille for a wonderful Sunday Brunch

with the Burns Family the dessert was ALMOST too cute to eat

but I had to eat it to get that little swan to stop looking at me :)

we toasted swans...
they toasted swans...then we all took a stroll

through the beautiful green gardens

I just love a nice warm summer rain!

Brandons birthday was May 15th

I guess he is now 27

but I will forever and always think he is 25 going on 25

Finn and I had a little surprise party for him

and then I took him to dinner and and a movie

"Angels and Demons"we just love our daddy so much

Brandon is seriously the best dad and husband ever :)

and I got him a sweet computer for his road bike

Brandon just took too long to come inside
and blow out the candles
so the entire cake kinda went up in flames
not to mention,
they were "trick" candles haha

Finnegan Michael Burns Blessing May 3, 2009

We were so very excited and nervous (Brandon)

to have our cute little Finn blessed.

The blessing itself was amazing followed by an amazing fiesta.

Thanks to all our friends and family

for sharing this special day with us

and even more for sharing your food with us!!!

3 months and still a rockstar!!!

Finnegan turned 3 months yesterday!!!

we seriously can't believe how BIG this cute little guy is getting

at his 2 month apt. he was a whopping 12lbs (75%)

and who knows what he is now at 3 months?

Well...we seriously just love Finn

and think nothing but hearts and stars about him

even though he knows he owns his mom and dad :)

Road Trip!!!

Our weekend get-away to St. George...Chad and Stace were nice enough to invite us to stay with them
in their amazing family St. George home

where they made breakfast for us every morning

let us sleep in the good bed

put up with Finns baby fits

and showed us a good time :)

We took a very bumpy drive out to the cliffs

to watch the very pretty sunset

(same cliffs Brandon proposed to me on)

we played Brandon sandwich

(Finn loved it as much as I did haha)

we went golfing

played tennis

went out to eat way too much

watched way too many movies

and spent all Saturday at the most awesome rec center ever

(huge pool-water slide-lazy river-whirl pool-children's play area-rock climbing-basketball-gym-etc-etc-etc)

Finn splashed around in the water like the little stud that he is

while the girls caught some rays

and acted like 10 year olds

enjoying all the amenities of the pool and rec center

and the boys fought the furious currents of the lazy river

and acted like 5 year olds

enjoying all the amenities of the pool

before taking off for another game of golf

Brandon never fails to make me laugh...

that's him playing dead

and trying to make it the entire length of the Lazy River

with just one breath

(mission accomplished)
