July Festivities!!!

This July was full of fun festivities...

We had a very happy 4th of July!!!

We had my family over to our house for a BBQ, smores

and a spectacular fireworks show :)

Finn loved the fireworks even though he was super tired

Finn also enjoyed dancing and rolling around

at all the Draper Concerts in the Park

We did lots and lots of swimming and splashing this HOT July!

and even got to watch these cute kids for two weeks :)

The Draper Rodeo never lets us down!

(yes...that's his dads Diet Coke Finn wants so badly to down)

The kids enjoyed getting their faces painted

decorating their bikes

and martching down the streets at the childrens parade...

but mostly enjoyed the icecream sandwithches at the end :)

& nothing says happy July

like the Draper Parade!!!

My family has a little competition each year

to see who can get the best stuff.

We get pretty into it to the point that we

yell, scream and even take down poor little children

to get what we want and need

(Mike won in the end)

Lyndee got her "Coka Cola" appearal so she was happy :)

Finn got to see the cool fire trucks

and eat candy till he was sick so he was happy :)

and we had a wonderful July

so we are all HAPPY!!!

Backyard BBQ & pool party

is a backyard BBQ & pool party...

let the kids get messy and dig into some chips and hotdogs

take a snooze

then cool of by jumping into the pool & splashing around

we had a blast going down the slide

and just relaxing in the hot sun

It has been so much fun being pregnant

with my two cute sisters :)

I can't believe we will all be having little babies

within 2 months of each other

(Jacque, Ashley & me Megan)

We were crossing our fingers for three boys

but Jacque just had to go and be "different"

These three little cousins are just going to be the best of friends!!!

Baby Robins!!!

A little Robin decided that the nest for her little babies

would fit perfectly in my parents backyard tree!

Memorial Day!!!

Thinking of you Kris

while Memorial Day for most is a day off work or school,

for many it is a day to remember loved ones who have passed on.

For the Burns family,

Memorial Day is a day to remember Kris Burns

(Brandon's big brother).

I never personally met Kris,

but have heard many stories

and let me tell you

I'm pretty sure I would have instantly loved him :)

All the stories I have heard

either involve him destroying a car in some way

(ranging from a home made sun roof to driving a van off a cliff)

or torturing neighborhood children while dressed as a Nija.

Gathering together with the Burns family at Kris's grave stone

is always an uplifting and positive experience.

This year we all got to write a little "heart attack" note to Kris

and put it by our little stick person to watch over him.

I am so grateful to be married into such a strong and loving family

who have taught me so much!!!
