Road Trip!!!

Our weekend get-away to St. George...Chad and Stace were nice enough to invite us to stay with them
in their amazing family St. George home

where they made breakfast for us every morning

let us sleep in the good bed

put up with Finns baby fits

and showed us a good time :)

We took a very bumpy drive out to the cliffs

to watch the very pretty sunset

(same cliffs Brandon proposed to me on)

we played Brandon sandwich

(Finn loved it as much as I did haha)

we went golfing

played tennis

went out to eat way too much

watched way too many movies

and spent all Saturday at the most awesome rec center ever

(huge pool-water slide-lazy river-whirl pool-children's play area-rock climbing-basketball-gym-etc-etc-etc)

Finn splashed around in the water like the little stud that he is

while the girls caught some rays

and acted like 10 year olds

enjoying all the amenities of the pool and rec center

and the boys fought the furious currents of the lazy river

and acted like 5 year olds

enjoying all the amenities of the pool

before taking off for another game of golf

Brandon never fails to make me laugh...

that's him playing dead

and trying to make it the entire length of the Lazy River

with just one breath

(mission accomplished)

Shout Out!!!

I just had to do a shout out to my old man

who turned somewhere between 50-55 this week

(we are not sure how old he really is haha)

but obviously no one told him what to do with his hands :)

Happy Easter!!!

I just love holidays and Easter is among the best...

what's better than having a reason to color eggs

hide them around the house

and then send your husband and baby

on a wild bunny hunt in search of them?

Ok...so we promised ourselves that we would never become

"those parents"

You know the ones who think their kid is better than everyone's

and their blogs hold nothing but photos of the little brat?

Well it's official...

We have become "those parents"

and we are completely ok with it.

We seriously love this little guy

I mean we thought Holidays were fun with just the two of us

Brandon + Megan + Finnegan = FUNI love when he smiles :)and when he doesn'tThese 3 little tikes melt my heart

even when 2 of them won't smile for a picture hahaThis is how we roll...I think it's funny that little babies have no say

in what's happening to them

poor lil guyI can't wait until Finn gets a little bigger

and can hold his own in the
"Branch Family Easter Egg Hunt"

I'm not sure how excited Finn was to get his Easter basket

maybe all the pictures tuckered him right out

Happy St. Patties Day!!!

I know this post is a little late,

but this holiday is kinda a big deal for our family...Brandon proposed to me 2 years ago

(at the request of my hubby,

I have had to edit a few things haha

but if you know me well, you know what I am talking about)

well, we were on our way home from Vegas

when we stopped in St. George for a little snack

and hike out to the cliffs.

While we were getting some snacks at Smiths,

we ran into the High School Musical cast

(Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale)

I got a picture with Zac and Vanessa to prove it.

We went out to the cliffs to eat our snacks

and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Brandon should have never put me in charge of the blanket,

because when I went to spread it out on the cliffs edge,

that's when it happened...

I'm surprised Brandon actually went through with the proposal

after seeing the true side of me haha

It was a magical day!Finns 1st time going GREEN
